Spring and calmer waters are here, hopefully we have seen the last cold front of the winter season. We are transitioning into our spring and summer season and getting ready for a tremendous run of large Mahi Mahi pouring thru the upper keys, the fishing capital of the world.
Nothing compares to the excitement of catching a big bull and cow dolphin.
This past week we caught our first big bull of the season, approx 40 lbs.
Spring and summer offer the very finest fishing in the keys. Deep Sea the dolphin, tuna, wahoo, sailfish are plentiful. On the reef and wrecks the grouper season opens May 1, and the grouper are plentiful. We will continue to catch snapper, amberjack, kingfish, cobia and others on the wrecks and reefs.
