Spring is here and the fishing in Key Largo is excellent. The reef and wreck fishing is producing some nice flag yellow tail ,mutton snapper, mangrove snapper, sharks, baracuda , mackerel, and large amberjack. May 1 the grouper season opens and it promises to be on fire. This year we are seeing some nice Mahi Mahi show up early and the wahoo, black fin tuna and sailfish bite continues to be good.
