Fortunately Key Largo was not hit quite as bad as the lower keys. Most businesses , restaurants and hotels have reopened. Both our boats were safe in the storm, thanks to our Captains and mates whom secured the boats prior to Irma.
The good news is that the fishing has not been affected . The other day one of the boats from a neighboring dock went fishing for the first time since Irma, it was a very successful day catching mahi up to 40 lbs plus many ,argue gaffers 15-20 lb fish.
We should continue to see excellent fishing for dolphin right up to the start of sailfish season. Also the wahoo will be showing up soon, along with some nice tuna.
Give us a call to get out and do some fishing. Capt. Greg 305-942-9982!
